Light color

The first LED bulbs to appear on the market emitted a very white light. Many people think that this is still the case.

However, LED technology has improved significantly. Today, Philips LED bulbs emit white light in various shades from yellow-white warm to cool blue. You can choose the usual warm LED light of a traditional light bulb or lighting similar to natural light. Look for the indication of white shades on the package.

Watt power and brightness

Watts are often confused with brightness. When using traditional light bulbs, their brightness was defined by watts.

However, brightness is not measured in watts - they measure energy consumption. LED bulbs emit light with the same brightness as traditional bulbs. When choosing LED lamps, pay attention to the luminous flux, which is measured in lumens (lm). It is indicated on our packaging. For your convenience, we also provide the equivalent of an incandescent bulb in watts, because we know you are familiar with this method of measurement.

Adjustable light flow
