Product description
Module with 32-bit Atmel ARM Cortex-M0+microcontroller, 256 kB Flash memory and 32 kB SRAM. The board can be connected to: Arduino Create platform, LoRa's ownLoRa network using Arduino Pro Gateway LoRa, as well as existing LoRa WAN infrastructure such as The Things Network.MKR WAN 1310has a new battery charging circuit, 2 MB of flash memory and improved control of power consumption by the board. I/O pins work with 3.3V,higher ones can damage the board. The module is fully compatible with Arduino environment.
For communication with LoRa network, the module uses Murata CMWX1ZZZABZ chip, so you can create various projects requiring wireless communication or projects based on IoT (Internet of Things). Arduino MKR WAN 1310 is powered by the built-in micro-USB port with 5 V or by Li-Ion or Li-Pol 3.7V batteries. The module consumes only 104uA of current. MKR WAN 1310 thanks to 2 MB flash memory supports data logging and OTA (Over The Air). These functions allow you to transfer configuration files to the board, create your own scripting commands or simply store local data and transfer it to another location.
Features
- Thanks to the installed bootloader, the appropriate micro-USB cable and software from the manufactureris sufficient to program the device.
- This version has a small size: 67.64 x 25 mm. It has soldered-in male connectors on the bottom and female connectors on the top.
- 8 digital inputs/outputs enable, among other things, control of LEDs, relays and readout of button states.
- The maximum current capacity of a single output is 7 mA.
- 12 PWM outputs allow e.g. for motor control and LED brightness adjustment.
- 7 inputs of the built-in analog-to-digital converter with a resolution of up to 12 bits support, among others, sensors with analog output.
- The device supports popular communication interfaces, among others: UART, I2C and SPI.
- AtmelSAMD21chip is clocked with 48 MHz signal, has 256 kB of flash memory and 32 kB of SRAM. Additionally, the board has 2 MB of external flash memory (QSPI).
- Power supply 5V micro-USB / 3.7V battery - to power Arduino you can use 5V power supply with micro-USB connector, VIN pin with 5 to 6V or 2 AA/AAA rechargeable batteries. It is also possible to connect Li-Ion or Li-Pol rechargeable battery via JST PHR-2 connector.
- LoRa - Radio communication with low power consumption and relatively long range, ideal for IoT devices
- The module allows you to play music files via the SPI interface (SPI1).
