The principal use - in case of need of distinguishing the signal source (ODO 04/99 displays the number under which the sender was entered into its memory and emits an acoustic signal). It is also used in installations in which a large number of users control the same device. The parameter of individual deleting the senders from the receiver’s memory is very useful. You delete only this one which is supposed to be removed.
The cooperation with other devices - the receiver cooperates with any type of senders by Gorke Electronic. The choice depends on the required range or the remote control’s parameters.
The operating range - a system based on the IDO-04/99 receiver can achieve the range from 200 to 1000 metres, depending on the remote control. It concerns the open space (without any obstacles, when the receiver and the remote control can see each other”). If there are any obstacles between the receiver and the sender, one must assume that the range would be reduced: for wood and plaster it would be 5-20% lower, for bricks 20-40% lower, and for reinforced concrete 40-80% lower. If there are many obstacles we advise to use retransmitters or stronger remote controls. If there are metal obstacles, using the radio systems is not recommended. In such situation, consider installing WLC 201 module, which helps to avoid the problem.
The receiver’s memory capacity – the IDO 04/99 receiver’s memory has space for 99 senders. For systems in which more senders are supposed to work, there are two solutions:
configure several IDO 04 receivers in the LC version with the WLC 201 receiving module. Counting the memory capacity: 99xnumber of IDO 04/99/LC receivers
use the IDO 500 receiver (the memory capacity: 500), which maintains the parameter of identifying and individual deleting
The communication hopping code – the radio transmission between the sender and the receiver is based on the hopping code (KEELOQ® firmy Microchip Technology Inc.), which guarantees a high level of safety while using and resistance to radio signals coming from other devices. Each sender has its own individual code. The receiver reacts only to those transmissions which come from the senders programmed in its memory.
Frequency 433,92 MHz – the devices work on the frequency 433,92 MHz. This bandwidth does not require any special permissions and concessions for using it.
