The Camera runtime is extended considerably with the battery grip, as the two battery compartments can each hold 2 Canon LP-E6N batteries. The integrated charging function charges the batteries directly in the battery grip (AC adapter included). The advanced ergonomic and non-slip battery grip makes it much easier to hold and use the camera.
The built-in flash sync socket is used, for example, to connect wired studio flash units.
