The device supports the EWF radio warning system and Journaline radio text via DAB+. EWF is an alarm system based on the DAB+ broadcast network, which transmits warning messages in the event of a disaster to EWF-capable DAB+ radios in a barrier-free manner and within seconds. The radios switch to alarm mode either from the current program or from standby mode and warn the listener of a possible danger.* The 2.4'' (6.1cm) TFT color display shows useful background information in razor-sharp detail.
